Every master of a craft starts at the absolute beginning. Before the seamless hybrid workflows, the refined color grading, and the polished commercial packages, there was just a passion for capturing moments and a drive to learn.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working on a wide range of diverse projects—far too many to fit onto a single page. Instead, this space serves as a curated roadmap of my story so far, offering a look behind the curtain at my creative evolution.

Cadstock Festival
Capturing Cadstock Festival—a vibrant, family-friendly weekend hosted by the council—holds a massive milestone in my career: it was the first festival I was ever hired to photograph.
This weekend was a massive testing ground for me. It was the very first time I unboxed and experimented with a 70-200mm lens, pushing myself to capture the energy of the live bands and the joyful, candid moments of the community from a whole new perspective. Still operating on my trusty old Canon 90D—and way before I ever introduced film into my workflow—I was heavily experimenting. This features an early color grade that looking back wasn't exactly ideal, but the creative vision and the passion were entirely there. These highlight photos showcase the absolute heart of Cadstock, capturing a special community celebration and the exact moment I fell in love with festival photography.

Photographing and filming Glastonbarry—a massive three-day event drawing over 7,000 people each day—was an incredible milestone. But behind the scenes, this project holds a special place in my story: it was the very first place I ever attempted to hybrid shoot and create films.
Armed with only a Canon 90D—a camera never truly designed for high-end filmmaking, low-light environments, or complex video—I pushed my gear to its absolute limits. Looking back, the video side features some painful color grading and the raw learning curves of a creator finding his footing. Yet, despite the technical hurdles, the energy of the crowd and the magic of the performances shine through. This collection highlights the unfiltered excitement of that weekend, capturing the exact moment I realized just how powerful combining photo and video could be. (I have since upgraded my toolkit, but these archives are a testament to where the hustle started!)

Securing my first long-term content contract with Cubanas Nightclub was the definitive turning point in my career. This wasn't just a job; it was where I truly learned how to survive and thrive as a fast-paced hybrid creator, developing weekly photos, recap videos, and custom social media assets.
I started this contract using my old Canon 90D, but the venue's extreme low light and chaotic, fast-moving environment quickly taught me a valuable lesson: it was time to upgrade my gear and invest in high-end, wide-aperture lenses. Shooting weekly in a nightclub forced me to master the art of low-light filmmaking and rapid-fire photography. Today, because I cut my teeth in the most challenging lighting conditions imaginable, every other environment I step into feels effortless by comparison. This archive represents where my workflow became razor-sharp and where I proved I could deliver high-end content under any conditions.

Whitmore Bay at the Welsh Life Guard Championship
This collection holds a truly special place in my journey. The team at Barry Island asked me to step in and record this incredible day, largely because my daughter was competing, and the community already knew and trusted my photography. It marked the very first time I had ever shot a live sporting event.
Armed with only my camera, I had to quickly adapt to capturing high-speed action across swimming, board, and land races. Despite it being a brand-new challenge for me, the photos came out incredibly well, and seeing how happy the team and families were with the final gallery was an unforgettable feeling. From intense, action-packed race shots to the quiet, candid moments of teamwork behind the scenes, this gallery captures the true grit and spirit of the championship—and a moment where my passion truly connected with my community.

When a friend reached out for help creating content for the Hilton Hotel, I jumped at the chance. While I was still operating on my older camera gear at the time, this project became an incredible playground to test out the full range of what I could offer—combining photography, videography, and graphic design artwork all into one package.
My main focus was driving gym memberships and guest engagement for the hotel's health suite. I captured everything from the state-of-the-art gym equipment to the swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna, alongside the elegant reception areas. But I didn't stop at the raw files; I used my graphic design background to turn those visuals into polished social media assets and custom artwork. This project was early proof of concept for me: it showed that providing a single, all-in-one creative solution could elevate a major, globally recognized brand.

The greatest compliment a creator can get is a repeat client. Because of the success of my work for the Hilton’s health suite, I was invited back to capture Lamerica—a massive, high-energy daytime event where guests enjoyed a two-course meal before completely taking over the dancefloor.
Once again, I was pushing my old Canon 90D to its absolute limits. Trying to capture fast-paced dancefloor energy and cinematic motion in tricky lighting with a camera not designed for video was a massive challenge. But I focused entirely on what mattered: the authentic joy, the dynamic music, and the electric crowd. The event was a massive success, but it was also a turning point for me. It was the exact catalyst that made me realize I had outgrown my toolkit, prompting me to finally upgrade to the premium hybrid gear I use today (which I actually used to film another event for them later!).

One of the coolest parts of this journey is seeing how one project opens the door to something completely new. After seeing my work in the nightclub scene, a client reached out and asked me to bring that same energy to capture their baby shower. It was my first time ever shooting this kind of milestone, and they wanted the full hybrid treatment—both photo and video.
The venue turned out to be a very dark room, throwing a massive curveball my way. Because I couldn’t use a traditional flash without completely distracting the guests and ruining the intimate atmosphere, I had to get creative. Pushing my old Canon 90D to its absolute limits, I found ways to manipulate the ambient light to keep the footage looking warm and heartfelt. The family was able to completely relive their celebration, and the success of this shoot was actually the final straw that led me to upgrade to my current setup, the Canon R6.

After years of pushing my old gear to its limits in dark rooms, this 21st birthday celebration marked a massive milestone: it was the very first time I got to unleash my upgraded mirrorless setup at a live party.
The event took place in a moody nightclub setting with minimal lighting, and once again, I wasn't allowed to use a flash. But this time, the story was completely different. My new camera effortlessly conquered the shadows, allowing me to capture both crisp stills and a cinematic video recap that perfectly preserved the mood and atmosphere. Navigating that dark room felt entirely natural, and the outcome was on a whole new level of polish. This gallery and recap video represent the moment my toolkit finally caught up to my vision—delivering a premium, high-energy hybrid package without compromising a single frame.
I had the pleasure of capturing Cardiff College’s 2025 Class Awards, held at a stunning 5-star hotel in the heart of Cardiff. This memorable evening celebrated the achievements of graduating students, and I was honored to document the entire event through both photography and film.
My work included a mix of candid shots, capturing students and their families enjoying the atmosphere, as well as posed moments of award recipients on stage. I also filmed the full event, producing a cinematic highlight film that showcases the elegance of the venue, the energy of the night, and the inspiring speeches from faculty and guests.
This project was a truly rewarding experience and reflects my passion for storytelling through visual media.
